GJ Gillespie Art to Show In Seattle

features some of the best northwest art 

THE JURY FOR the Northwest Collage Society Winter Show accepted a piece by GJ Gillespie. 

Look for the art at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, from January 16 through March 26, 2016.

"Good King Wenceslas" -- along with pieces of other artists who were accepted -- will decorate the vaulted halls of the popular down town center.

This 1950's like abstract is available for sale. 
"I'm so excited for this honor," says GJ Gillespie from his home in Kirkland. 

"When ever I'm accepted for a show I try to take Andy Warhol's advice: 


'Don't think about making art. Just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it's good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they're deciding make even more art.' 

"I'll continue making art either way. But, it is satisfying when someone else says that it is good."
