See two large collage artworks by GJ Gillespie along with several pieces made by other local artists. 

The jury for the Pacific Regent Invitational Art Show in Bellevue WA, accepted works by local artists as part of a show of paintings that are at least 20 x 24 inches.

Both "A World of Our Own" and "Series of Dreams" were inspired by a painting by Hans Hoffman. Titles are taken from songs by The Seekers and Bob Dylan.

The collages are made of colored tissue, painted newspaper, magazine images, pastel, water color, pen, graphite spray paint, house paint and Chinese coloring book sheets.

"A World of Our Own" had previously been showing at the Hurst Gallery in Kirkland.

Update: At the end of the show "A World or Our Own" was purchased by a fan.
