MERIT AWARD
About the piece.
I took a classical Greek sculpture image and elongated it to form these ghostly images.

I like how the Spanish artist Jaume Plensa stretches his figures and wondered if I could get a similar effect.

The Chinese writing is from a Chinese rice paper coloring book. The white bones is house paint dripped on spray painted news paper. The purple man is made with bits of newspaper images and water color. The yellow shadow was made by a stencil and spray paint. The graphite scribbles were inspired by Henry Moore drawings.

When I was Young by GJ Gillespie.

I Know a Place by GJ Gillespie.
