April, 2, 2019. Jury for the Best of Kirkland Art Show has selected GJ Gillespie's mixed media collage "Shelter From the Storm".
Opening reception for artists will be on May 10th from 6-8 pm as the kickoff event for the Kirkland Arts Center Open House Weekend. That night two Juror Awards will be announced and voting for the People's Choice Award will begin.

The exhibition will also be open to the public on May 11th during the Open House from 10am - 7pm, alongside the demonstrations, pottery sale, and other activities that will be happening throughout the building.
"This is one of the most prestigious shows in our community. I've entered it several times before and it is an honor to get in this year," says Gillespie.
